Chloe Orphanage is a home for children located in Bali, Indonesia, founded in 2010 by Pastor Victor Hutapea and his wife, Susan, who also serve as dedicated houseparents to the 26 children currently in thier care.
Born from a deep vision to support vulnerable children across Indonesia, Chloe Orphanage exists to provide more than just shelter, it is a place of stability, love and belonging.
With support of donors and partners, the children are provided with daily essentials including food, safe housing, healthcare, education and emotional security, all within a family-like environment where they are cared for and known.

A Place to Belong, A Place to Grow Into
With the current lease for Chloe Orphanage coming to an end in less than two years, there is an urgent need to secure a permanent home for the children in their care. At present, the orphanage provides safety and support for 26 children, however many more vulnerable children across Bali are still in immediate need of protection, care and education.
The Forever Home Project is the vision to change this reality, to purchase a large piece of land in Bali and build a permanent orphanage community that can grow and support 80 children or more. This will be a place designed not only for shelter, but for long-term stability, growth and belonging.
More than just a home, this future space will include classrooms for education and creative learning, a place of worship, safe accommodation for children and staff, gardens for food and self-sufficiency, and spaces for play, sport and childhood development. It is a vision for a fully supported environment where children can grow up with dignity, opportunity and the foundations they need for life beyond the orphanage.
The Forever Home Project is about creating permanence where there is currently uncertainty and ensuring that no child is left without safety, care and a place to belong.
Plans for a brighter future
The vision for the Forever Home is already taking shape. What exists today as a drawn plan represents something far greater, a place where children can live, learn and truly belong.
The design includes safe and welcoming dormitories, dedicated classrooms and a music room for learning and creativity and open spaces where children can simply be children.
A swimming pool will provide not only joy but life-saving skills, while gardens and a small farm will offer fresh food and the opportunity to learn responsibility and self-sufficiency.
Every part of this space has been thoughtfully imagined to create a balanced environment, one that nurtures education, play, growth and a sense of home. This is not just a building plan but a vision for a future where children are supported in every area of their lives.
